Load-in just got lighter.
The van is packed, the stairs are steep and the amp rack is next. The NX3000 is a Class-D amplifier that weighs 3.5 kg and needs two rack units. Carry it in, plug it in and start the soundcheck.
Stereo, bridge or bi-amp
A MODE switch selects MONO, STEREO or BRIDGE. The CROSSOVER switch selects FULLRANGE, LF or HF. In LF mode, the amp amplifies only the low frequencies. LF and HF modes are typically used for bi-amping. For example, one NX amplifier handles the highs and a separate NX amplifier handles the lows.
See what each channel is doing
SIGNAL, LIMIT and PROTECT LEDs show the state of each channel. If the red LIMIT LED lights continuously, reduce the input gain. After an operation error, the amp mutes that channel until the error clears.
Connections you already use
Combination inputs take XLR, balanced ¼" TRS or unbalanced ¼" TS plugs. Speaker outputs connect through speaker cables with twist-locking plugs. The fan speed adjusts automatically, and the IEC power cable is included. Rack screws and washers are not included.
