SC16-I is the analog front-end for a StageConnect system. Eight TRIAD mic preamps on combo jacks (channels 1–8) take mics and instruments, each with individually switchable 48V phantom power, while channels 9–16 add eight line-level combo inputs that accept XLR or TRS. Sixteen sources onto the bus, over one cable.

TRIAD Preamps, Engineered to Perform

The integrated TRIAD mic preamps deliver pristine audio, high common-mode rejection for clean rejection of noise, stable performance across a wide range of source impedances, and fine 0.5 dB analog gain steps for precise level setting on every channel.

Control From the Console or the Desktop

Set gain and preamp parameters remotely from any StageConnect-enabled console, or from the desktop control panel over USB. Dial in the stage from front of house — no runs back to the rack mid-show.

The Ideal Analog Front-End for Ultranet

With Ultranet input and output ports, SC16-I is a natural analog front-end for Ultranet receivers from Midas, Behringer, Klark Teknik, or Turbosound — feeding personal monitoring and processing directly from the stage.

MIDI Rides Along

SC16-I transmits MIDI input commands to other Behringer StageConnect products, such as the SC-U USB interface, keeping control data on the same infrastructure as your audio. Record the stage piano’s stereo output along with its MIDI direct to your DAW, all on the same XLR cable.
