About this product

Analogue 8-voice polyphonic synthesiser with 2 VCOs per voice, arpeggiator, sequencer and 400 program memories

Eight analogue voices that keep a chord moving.

You hold a slow chord and want it to breathe, not just sustain. On the PRO-800, oscillator B and the filter envelope can push on oscillator A and the filter cutoff. That is Polymod. All eight analogue voices have it, so a held chord keeps moving.

Sync, sweep and self-oscillation

Each voice pairs two 3340 oscillators with hard sync. Polymod sweeps the pitch of oscillator A or the 24 dB/octave filter as the note plays. Push the filter into self-oscillation, or let the LFO move both oscillators and the cutoff.

Chords, unison and stored shapes

Play eight-note chords, or stack all eight voices on one note in unison mode. Store a chord shape and transpose it across the keyboard. Keep sounds in 400 program memories, or randomise a preset for a fresh start. The pad you found tonight is there tomorrow.

Patterns and the rest of the studio

The arpeggiator plays held notes up, down or up and down. Record a sequence into either of two banks, up to about 400 notes. Play it from a MIDI keyboard or a computer over 5-pin MIDI or class-compliant USB. Sync in and a filter CV input let other gear take control.
