About this product

Paraphonic analogue semi-modular synthesiser with dual 3340 oscillators, a multi-mode filter, BBD delay and overdrive

Two oscillators that melt from one shape to the next.

Turn one knob and listen. The sound you did not plan may become the one that starts your next song. One waveform bends into another. A filter edges into resonance. An echo smears into chorus. NEUTRON is built for that search, with an analogue signal path, 36 knobs and 7 buttons.

Play first, patch later

Its semi-modular design needs no patching before you play. When you want more, the 32 in/24 out patch bay lets you rewire it. The main module can also move into a standard Eurorack case (not supplied).

Shapes that melt into each other

Two 3340 oscillators each offer five shapes, from tone mod and square to sawtooth, triangle and sine. In blend mode they morph from one to the next. The LFO reaches 10 kHz for audio-rate modulation. In paraphonic mode, the two oscillators play different notes.

A filter that sings, an echo inside

Turn the 12 dB filter resonance close to maximum and it produces a sine wave of its own. Activate KEY TRACK and tune the VCF to play it in tune with the oscillators. An analogue bucket brigade delay runs from 24 ms to 640 ms. Modulate a short time for chorus, or set a long one for dub echoes. Overdrive adds anything from subtle colour to extreme distortion.
