Give the subwoofers an amplifier of their own.

Adding subwoofers is when a small PA starts to feel like a big one. Bi-amping splits the signal into upper and lower bands, each sent to separate speaker cabinets. The speakers work more efficiently, and you can get a cleaner overall sound.

Switch it to bass duty

Slide the CROSSOVER switch to LF and the amplifier passes only the low frequencies. A second NX amplifier, switched to HF, takes the middle and high frequencies. Set the MODE switch to STEREO. The NX6000 has no BRIDGE mode.

Connections that lock in place

The combination jack inputs take XLR, balanced ¼" TRS or unbalanced ¼" TS connectors. Gain controls for channels A and B set the input level. Speaker cables connect with twist-locking plugs.

Two rack units, 5.9 kg

The whole amplifier weighs 5.9 kg and needs two rack units. Load protection includes on/off muting and DC-fault power supply shutdown.
