About this product

32-Channel StageConnect Bridge to ADAT - TOSLINK

StageConnect Meets ADAT

SC-ADAT bridges the StageConnect bus to the ADAT/TOSLINK world. Two optical inputs and two optical outputs carry 16×16 channels of 48 kHz / 24-bit digital audio, moving a full stage's worth of signal in and out over optical in a single compact box.

Open Up a World of Gear

With ADAT on tap, SC-ADAT connects StageConnect to a huge installed base of equipment — multitrack recorders, high-end preamps, and outboard racks — so existing ADAT gear plugs straight into a StageConnect system.

Optical by Nature, Isolated by Design

Because the connection is TOSLINK fiber-optic, it inherently provides galvanic isolation between devices and naturally prevents ground-loop issues — clean digital transfer with no electrical path to hum about.

The StageConnect Backbone

On the bus side, SC-ADAT carries StageConnect's 32-channel bidirectional audio with sub-millisecond latency at 44.1/48 kHz and 24 bits — over an XLR cable for shorter distances, or a high-impedance DMX cable for maximum range.

Small, Solid, Installable

The slim aluminum-extrusion chassis is roughly the size of a DI box, and an included mounting bracket bolts it down for fixed installation — out of the way and there to stay.
