About this product

16-input digital mixer for tablets with 8 Midas-designed preamps, built-in Wi-Fi and stereo recording to USB

Set the monitors on stage, the mix from the crowd.

Club gig, small stage, twenty minutes to soundcheck. There is no room for a desk at the back, but the crowd still deserves a balanced mix. The XR16 is a 3.0 kg digital mixer that sits by the stage, run from your tablet. Stand next to the drummer and set the monitors. Then walk into the crowd and finish the main mix where they hear it.

Sixteen inputs for the whole band

Eight Midas-designed preamps on combo jacks take the microphones. Each input switches its own 48 V phantom power. Eight balanced line inputs bring in a keyboard and other line sources. Plug a guitar or bass straight into channel 15 or 16.

Start the mix without packing a router

The integrated Wi-Fi module makes an external router optional. In access point mode, up to four devices connect straight to the mixer. Four balanced XLR aux outputs feed the stage monitors, twice the XR12's two. Inside, four true stereo effects engines wait for the vocals.

The set, on a flash drive

Plug a USB flash drive into the mixer to record the night in stereo. Play it at the next rehearsal and hear what the crowd heard.
