The Behringer 1204FX Xenyx mixer brought the next-generation Xenyx mic preamps, neo-classic British-style 3-band EQ and a 24-bit multi-FX processor with 100 presets to the working 12-input format — a serious upgrade in transparency, headroom and musicality over earlier compacts. Reverb, chorus, delay and pitch effects sat right on the desk; balanced line inputs, +48 V phantom power and main XLR outputs kept the signal chain honest and pro.

Songwriters, podcasters, presenters, small venues and houses of worship adopted it because it simply sounded better than its price suggested. Bold Behringer, evolved. This product is now obsolete — see the current Behringer Xenyx 1204FX-USB for today's edition.
