You cannot do convincing stereo with a single mic. The C-2 Dark Edition arrives as a factory-matched pair — capsules calibrated against each other so spatial placement stays accurate when you split them into XY, ORTF, or a spaced pair across the kit, the piano, or the ensemble.

Each cardioid small-diaphragm condenser delivers 20 Hz–20 kHz response with 150 dB max SPL — quiet enough for an acoustic guitar, composed enough for drum overheads. Switchable low-frequency rolloff handles handling noise and wind, and a 10 dB pad accommodates the hottest sources. The all-black finish keeps the mics out of sight on camera. Stereo bar, shockmounts, windscreens, and case included.
