1601 SEQUENCER — ANALOG SEQUENCING, UNCOMPROMISED

The classic 1601 sequencer from the '70s is one of those instruments that shaped electronic music without most people ever knowing its name. The 1601 SEQUENCER brings that legendary workflow back in Eurorack format — a flexible, full-CV analog sequencer for musicians who want hands-on control, not menu diving.

Run a single 16-step sequence or split into two 8-step patterns. Three separate gate buses with individual step switches let you build complex rhythmic relationships across multiple destinations. The quantized 2-octave pitch range nails notes for melodic work, while a free 10-octave CV range opens up non-pitched applications like filter cutoff modulation or PWM control. Skip and Reset buttons with CV inputs give you full live control of pattern length and direction.

Clock FM and pulse-width controls (each with its own CV input) let you modulate tempo and gate length on the fly — from tight staccato to flowing legato. A Position 1 CV output triggers external events at pattern start, perfect for chaining or arming the sequence to stop after a loop. Separate quantize inputs let you run external CV through the quantizer, and four multiples keep your patching clean. Forty-two controls, comprehensive MIDI and USB with transport sync — this is the sequencer the modular world has been waiting for.
