Opening night, act two, scene three. The chorus sings, falls silent for a duet, then sings again. Every scene changes the balance. The next cue leaves no time to hunt for controls. X32 COMPACT has the core functions and processing of the flagship X32 in a smaller console. Its motorised faders and encoders put the key controls under your hands, and every setting comes back with the scene.
One button for the whole chorus
Assign the chorus microphones to one of six mute groups. Put them on one of eight DCA groups. Each channel fader stays free for the lead who needs a little more.
Every scene, back where you left it
Save up to 100 scenes and recall them. The 17 motorised faders and the recallable mic preamps return to their settings. Each channel has its own small LCD for name, number, colour and source.
Tonight's show, heard tomorrow
Plug a flash drive or hard drive into the top-panel USB port and record the board mix. Or record 32 channels to a computer over USB. Listen back before the next show and decide which scene still needs work.
