BEHRINGER, a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of professional audio and musical instrument products, has been invited to showcase a range of exciting new BEHRINGER gear and audio equipment at the Society of Audio Engineering (SAE) Alumni Convention in Berlin. The SAE, headquartered in Australia, is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s foremost audio and media educational institutions.
The convention, to be held on 12 and 13 October 2006, is one of the best platforms to develop new ideas and to exchange notes between academics, industry professionals and the media. A series of workshops on current technical novelties and industry trends will be complemented by an exhibition and an award ceremony.
One of these workshops will focus on podcasting, to specifically address the phenomenal popularity of user-generated content for the internet. BEHRINGER will give a sneak preview of its PODCASTUDIO, a high quality podcasting bundle with FireWire ports that gives podcasters, both professional and novice, all the equipment they would need in one box. To be officially launched later this fall, the very first PODCASTUDIO bundles to be released will be used by SAE to record the workshops for uploading on the SAE Alumni website. SAE will also use these PODCASTUDIO bundles for their future didactical activities.
At the BEHRINGER booth (located at stand 013), SAE alumni will be able to experience in depth BEHRINGER’s range of pro-audio gear such as XENYX premium analogue mixers with USB interface, TRUTH monitors and studio microphones. In addition, BEHRINGER product specialists will be on–hand to present solutions for computer based recordings such as U-CONTROL UMX keyboards, F-CONTROL AUDIO FCA202 FireWire audio interface and DJ consoles such as B-CONTROL DEEJAY BCD2000 midi controller.
