German super-group on tour with the X32

When the wunderkinder from Germany’s F.R.E.I. hit the road this summer in support of their debut album, “Grenzenlos”, they were not neophytes. Having already sold more than 10 million records collectively in previous groups, the members of F.R.E.I. are seasoned vets of the touring scene. Being familiar with the myriad options available, they chose the powerful and intuitive X32 family of products for their live sound support.

Daniel Wagner, lead vocalist for F.R.E.I. offered, “Kudos to BEHRINGER for putting lightning in a bottle! The X32 Series offers top-notch, yet affordable tools for the touring musician.”

With the X32 Digital Console deftly handling their front of house duties, the band is also using an X32 Rack and S16 Digital Snake for their on-stage monitoring solution. By creating a dedicated X32 eco-system with total mix recall, the band is ensured of consistent and excellent mains and monitor performance wherever they may find themselves, as well as speedy set ups and sound checks.

The band’s five-month tour features performances at 18 of Germany and Austria’s largest festivals, including Munich’s Tollwood Summer Festival and Berlin’s IFA Summer Garden, with F.R.E.I. taking the stage alongside touring mates UNHEILIG and PUR.
