Face the King

Face The King is an independent alternative hard rock band based out of New York. With their unique arena-size rock Face the Kingsound they have redefined the New York rock scene, both on stage and in the studio. Eric Zirlinger (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Dan DelVecchio (lead guitar, keyboards, backup vocals), Joey Dammacco (bass, synth, backup vocals), and Randy Palumbo (drums, percussion) make up the band.

The band has received critical praise for their EP The Burning & The Falling Down, which was produced by well-known producer Steve Haigler (Pixies, Fuel). Playgroundz.net said of the EP, “Face The King is an adventure waiting to be unleashed. The Burning & The Falling Down features 5 tracks that take the listener on a voyage. As you listen you’re taken out of your reality and into the music. Face The King is an intense sonic experience that you will never forget.”

Face the King spends most their time in the studio and on the road, because creating music is their passion. All the band members share in the philosophy that live shows are an experience shared between a band and their audience. They are quickly earning a reputation as a must-see live act. Long Island Press Magazine declared Face the King as the “Best Band of Long Island.” They have been a part of the 2012 Vans Warped Tour and the 2012 Rockstar Uproar Festival. The recent project that has them the most excited is their partnership with USA Network’s Hate the Hate anti-bulling program.

Face The King has always believed that music has the power to unify people of all different walks of life. The new single says it best – when the lights go down at a concert – we are all the same – it is just “You, Me & the SOUND.”
