Manager, Product Management Installed Sound
Location: Seattle, United States
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities
- Conceive, define, and identify new product ideas
- Prepare and present business strategies for proposed products
- Compose detailed Product Requirement Documents defining features
- Interface with RnD and Engineering teams through development phase
- Assess and project market demand including potential sales velocity
- Recommend go-to-market time and expected life cycle
- Direct Marketing Activities related to product and market served
- Make presentations to Customer Support and Marketing teams
- Attend trade show and industry events
- Travel periodically to China
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related discipline
- Functional experience using major vector graphics software, such as Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Visio
- In-depth knowledge of professional audio products using Installed Sound systems
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in professional audio products and technologies
- Relevant product development or product management background in Professional Audio
- Prior position(s) in sales, system design, or installation of commercial sound systems
- Demonstrated success in design of electronic or acoustic pro audio products
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with ability to interact in a global environment
- Entrepreneurial thinker with strong business competence and analytical/conceptual skills
