Product Manager, Installed Sound

Responsibilities:
The MUSIC Group is seeking a key addition to our Seattle-area product marketing team in the role of Product Manager for BEHRINGER Installed Sound products. As the key driver of the Eurocom installed audio product line, the Product Manager is the owner of product strategy, roadmap and development activities as well as being the key advocate both internally and externally for the brand. Working with marketing, research and development, finance and our end users, the product manager keeps our product portfolio current and ahead of the curve in the installed sound industry.
This is a role where the incumbent is expected to be the subject-matter expert on everything related to installed sound products. This knowledge base extends from an intimate understanding of the market, competitors and trends, to the technologies, methods and materials used in the manufacture of the products. We serve a global market with varying needs, standards and economies and our products must offer relevance and our hallmark value proposition to each and every one of them.
The ideal candidate will possess that rare combination of technical knowledge, market acumen and contagious enthusiasm. You are a seasoned product manager with several successful products already on your CV. Your attention to detail is the stuff of legend and yet you are productive and always conscious of deadlines and co-dependent resources. While you might not be an EE, you do know the difference between I²S and I²C and are equally comfortable laying out a block diagram in Visio as you are a front panel in Illustrator.

Requirements:
- College degree in Marketing, Product Management or Engineering
- 5+ years working experience in product development and management
- Intimate knowledge of the Installed Sound Market in the US and Global
- Knowledge of technologies, construction and specifications across loudspeakers, amplification, signal processing and mixing in commercial and installed systems
- Power user in all MS Office applications, Visio and Adobe Illustrator
- Contacts across the installed sound industry including consultants, integrators and wholesale distributors
- Experience with manufacturing and/or design engineering in China is a definite asset
